I just got the Droid Bionic a few weeks ago. I love it. It does things a lot faster than the other phones I have had. I've never had an Apple so I don't know anything about them. My brother-in-law has an Apple and is thinking of going to a Droid because you can't pull the back off and change the battery yourself. He said it will cost him $200 dollars to have them change the battery.

OMG! I have had a huge row with my neighbour in the driveway! Oh the shame.....
by watersprout inso we are looking after this stray we found called ''dog''.... she is ok seems to have settled down and made herself at home.
lol.
so this morning we jump in the car to take carrot to work and we put dog in the kitchen so she doesn't eat all my furniture.

Hello--new to the witnesses...and you

i went to the kh for the first time 2 weeks ago...and will go again tomorrow.
i don't believe anything witnessy...(i was raised in the assembly of god church and now the closest thing i "do" with religion is yoga or sometimes the buddhist temple).... but the man i'm in love with is a df'd jw (we've been together for 6 years).... and he wants to get reinstated just to talk to his family again (i can assure you he does not believe it).... and he wants his family to accept me because we are about to get married... so, i'm going to meetings...its very interesting, but only because it shows me more about how he was raised.

Hi LKM and welcome. I can see that you already have a pretty good understanding of what is going on there. When you are in a relationship with someone who was in a cult like the Watchtower there is always the danger that they will at some point want to return to it. I see a lot of good advice here but to me it boils down to this. He has to make a decision to be himself or pretend to be someone he is not in order to please his family.
He also has to decide between his family and you. It is natural for someone to want to have a good relationship with their family but if in order to have that relationship with them they have to go through life acting out the role of good little JW it just isn't worth it. At least to me. To me it is bad enough to have to hide what you really believe and lie about it to please someone but with JWs it much worse than than that. Faking being a JW involves an entire lifestyle of deception. Going to meetings to listen to crap you don't believe in. Having make postive comments about crap you don't believe in. Going to your neighbors doors peddling crap you don't believe. If you have children you have to teach crap you don't believe in or make good little liars out of them so they don't give the game you are playing away.
If he decides to return to the Watchtower to please his family this is the game he is getting involve in and this is the game you are being sucked into. He has to decide if this is the kind of person he is and if it is worth it to him and you have to decide the same thing.
I know this sounds harsh but you are dealing with a harsh religion that makes harsh rules.
My heart goes out to you.

Ok, I kind of get it now. I have a friend who used to work in a surf shop and he told me he had a customer who whenever he wanted to try a different shaped surfboard he would always order it in the same color so his wife wouldn't know he'd bought another one.
